Today he was excellent and not that it mattered alot kept us in the game....plus the entertainment value when he whipped his hat off for that headed clearance in the first half.. Helan offers nothing but pace- I know that's something we lack, but he definitely doesn't make as look any better. VERY regrettably, Nuhiu does. Hawkeye Posted May 2, 2015 Share Posted May 2, 2015 Can't understand scoring players like Kirkland a 4 (he's second choice to a ridiculously good westwood, but in the games he's played has been excellent. Or melo and bus, both of whom have only just started playing for us. Buxton has been injured (then couldn't get in) but has been excellent in the games he's played. As bad as Maghoma has been, he has contributed more than Madine, McCabe, Coke, etc. Wasn't he involved in all 3 goals at Milwall? Buxton looks all at sea at times at centre-back and I wouldn't play him there unless last resort. At right-back when available he has again proved he is as good if not better than anyone else we have and his crossing ability has seen him provide almost as many assists as anyone else in just a handful of games. Vermijl played in 1 less game than Buxton and looked far less assured but got a better mark. Also, how can you give Kirkland a 4? He has had to play 2nd fiddle to one of the best goal keeping performances seen in many a year for our club and has done what was expected of him when called upon, how could he have improved on this?
