Mowatt, Wickham, D Gray, Aluko, Nolan, McGugan

Recommended Posts

Mowatt would obviously be very expensive but if you're a young and up and coming player you need stability and you won't get any of that at Leeds. Very unlikely but not impossible.

Wickham - no, he really would be too expensive and Sunderland will want to hold onto him imo.

Gray - that's a bit more realistic but again Birmingham will try and hold onto him, they're on the up just as we are now Rowett's got them heading in the right direction. Would take a big fee.

Aluko - that is very possible and he's a real handful up front. Doesn't really have a future at Hull unless they go down which is unlikely. Still got one year left on his contract though.

Nolan - unlikely, especially if Big Sam does stay at West Ham after all.

McGugan - assuming Watford don't harbour too many hard feelings about today, that will be probably our first business this summer

The FIFA generation.

:picnic:

This. And I actually play FIFA.

But people need to understand you can't just bid for a player, give in to ridiculous contract demands and he'll come.

Teams don't have to sell, a lot of the teams of the players above aren't in a position where they even have to sell. Plus the player doesn't have to come here if offered better elsewhere....and some players are genuinely happy where they are.

Mowatt will probably be called up to the next England Under 21 squad. Him and the other Leeds lad Lewis Cook are being closely watched by lower end Premier League teams. It's quite obvious that neither would leave Leeds for us. Bit of a sideways move at the minute considering there's currently NO guarantee that we'll do any better next season. Actually knowing people who are close friends with Mowatt, he's in no rush at all to leave Leeds unless a move to the Premier League was to arise.

Wickham, plain and simply, will be playing premier league football next season with or without Sunderland.

Birmingham turned down a ridiculous offer from Bournemouth for Demari Gray in January. Now Gray is out of contract they can't stop him making the step up to the Premier League. Unless he's a genuine grounded sort of lad and he re-signs with Birmingham.

Aluko is probably the most realistic on the list apart from McGugan, who we all know is well in our reach. He'd command a decent fee, for sure. Hull will probably want to move on from him only if they stay up.

I'm not even going to comment on the ridiculous idea of signing Kevin Nolan. More chance of re-signing Eddie Nolan.
