Yes. Still can't believe we got rid of him and Antonio in one summer and failed to replace the pace on the wing in anyway. Do we have a player capable of coming on and changing a game right now? No. For all his faults, JJ had that capability.

Its alright saying we got rid of that pace and didnt replace it but the table doesnt lie. Ok its not been that exciting but this has actually been our best season in years and we've done that without JJ and Antonio!

I'd take the JJ from two or three seasons ago - but then again, I don't think we'd have let that JJ go (just as we didn't then).

 

I wouldn't take the JJ from last season though; he'd stopped having any kind of positive impact, and it was definitely time for us to part ways - but with great gratitude though, as irrespective of what all the frustrations that went hand in hand with his time with us, he was one of the few players to get us off our seats.
