Guest _Ibbo_
These are the most important two statements about today. Its not a debt leveraged buy out as per a LOT of football club take overs. Its genuine cold hard personal cash.

daveyboy66
And the beauty of it is that any sponsorship can be through TUF including the new TUF Academy, TUF training ground, TUF Stadium all of which don't count in FFP...lads got his head round it
themaskedowl
Does anyone have any recent figures for personal worth? I remember some posting estimates of the value of his share of TUF. From memory it wasn't that much (I realise how stupid this sounds but we are talking about football clubs here), and I hope he's got a lot more sitting idly by. De Bilde
He makes a lot more money from property and construction than he does from TUF
roaminowl
Whenever I see TUF, all I can think about is those shoes with a compass in the heel.

McRightSide
Clever move to distance TUF from the ownership. DC: Dad, can you buy a football club for me? TUF: No Son, you'll fall foul of FFP. DC: Dad, I've bought a football club with my pocket money. Can you sponsor me? TUF: Yes Son, here's 30mil over the next 5 years. DC: Thanks Dad, you're the best
mogbad
I wonder if debt free also means any outstanding debts to DA & the care home crew have now been cleared.

ed_tomassi
I'm not too worried about this being a personal endeavour of Dejphon's. He's clearly a well schooled and experienced businessman. AND his Dad is #40 on the Forbes list at 80 years of age. TUF makes Billions of Dollars and is still growing. Dejphon will inherit quite a packet one day. robster_owl
R.E. his personal worth... hasn't anybody got on to the trail of what his construction and property company(s) are called, worth etc for these entities in their own rights?! OT OUT!!!!
Pastor Kidneys
I wonder if debt free also means any outstanding debts to DA & the care home crew have now been cleared. Doubt he'd pay any DA or CO-OP debts that become due with promotion to the Prem before 2020
S36 OWL
All seems a very clever way of getting around FFP . Its pretty clear TUF are involved financially ,and the advertising board at the press conference just backs up that theory . Also all along we have been told its a consortium ,which again makes sense of the TUF boards today .
