These are the most important two statements about today.

Its not a debt leveraged buy out as per a LOT of football club take overs.

Its genuine cold hard personal cash.

Does anyone have any recent figures for personal worth? I remember some posting estimates of the value of his share of TUF. From memory it wasn't that much (I realise how stupid this sounds but we are talking about football clubs here), and I hope he's got a lot more sitting idly by.

Clever move to distance TUF from the ownership.

DC: Dad, can you buy a football club for me?

TUF: No Son, you'll fall foul of FFP.

DC: Dad, I've bought a football club with my pocket money. Can you sponsor me?

TUF: Yes Son, here's 30mil over the next 5 years.

DC: Thanks Dad, you're the best

I'm not too worried about this being a personal endeavour of Dejphon's. He's clearly a well schooled and experienced businessman.

AND his Dad is #40 on the Forbes list at 80 years of age. TUF makes Billions of Dollars and is still growing. Dejphon will inherit quite a packet one day.

All seems a very clever way of getting around FFP .

Its pretty clear TUF are involved financially ,and the advertising board at the press conference just backs up that theory . Also all along we have been told its a consortium ,which again makes sense of the TUF boards today .
