IstillhateSteveBould
Chansiri - " We're looking at making all necessary investments to get the club back to the Premier League" That's what I wanted to hear. How much will it take and on who/what?

trev
Depends how smart SG is, but at a rough guess...£20 million on transfers alone. More including stadium/training and facility upgrades.

walkleyblue
Might not be necessary but smartening the back of the away end up and re-sheeting the kop would be nice.

modboy
no need to upgrade the stadium at the moment, wait until we get promoted. If we can just get quality "free" signings along the same lines as Westwood and Lees I dont think we will need to spend that much.McGugan is a must, along with a winger and perhaps a proven striker should see us not too far away Edited March 2, 2015 by modboy
GoldGigsChris
If he's serious about celebrating our 150th birthday (Sept 2017) in the prem, he'll have to get us promoted next season. So loadsamoney required for a quick fix, not gentle progress
Swiss Toni
I can't remember off the top of my head but what did MM state on his opening interview after taking over? Everybody is going to say that the Premier League is the end goal. It's all about actions now.
Jeffjohnsonmyhero
Sensible investment .Just what i want to hear ,Also means our Training ground and Academy will be brought up to top notch .VERY HAPPY WHAT I HEAR.
McRightSide
I would imagine real development in academy and stadia would only happen once we are in the Premier League.
LaminyPie
We will have to take a calculated approach. A high value sponsorship deal with TUF will be required to avoid any FFP issues
sheffield_dave
The most exciting thing for me was his use of the word "smart". That's how you have to operate in this league. Westwood and Lee's cost us nothing. Forest spent the best part of £10m on 2 players and it's landed them in (albeit spineless and almost pointless) trouble with FFP. "Competetive" is where I want us to be. To be able to look at the teams at the top end of the division and know that when they're looking for signings, we can finally fish in the same waters.
