Freshfish
...think it's an excellent idea. I would be minded to put every episode together and cut it down, shoot a couple of scenes to develop a couple of the characters more and then use that as episodes one and two. Keep them to a standard 15 mins each. Or look at the really good online series and see how characters are developed in those. You can only go so far with 'Sunday/Saturday League' football japes... talon
If you've played Sunday League you can relate to all of it. This. If anything, it's a bit toned down from the reality!
Bluesteel
There were a good few times Id be stood up front in Sunday league with two centre halves telling each other about last nights antics stinking of booze. Lads drinking Stella at half time was the low point
adamnich
it's a bit "try hard" aint it. Oh look at me with me sheffield accent and all that.
PopePiusX
There is literally one joke in this. I played Sunday League for a few years, I get it, it's quite well-observed but they forgot to put the jokes in.

Or maybe it's that there's no actors in it and that everyone's talking how they do in real life every day of the week Owlstalk Shop

adamnich
it just sounds bit like when people from outside yorkshire try imitate a yorkshire accent and it just doesnt really sound believable. It's a good concept but it needs work... and actors rather than mates

wednesdaywizard
Disagree Bit 'mates brigade' innit this. That puts me off it more than owt. I played sunday league and still didn't think it was hilarious. I don't think the concepts bad at all. Just the execution could do with some work. Totally agree Nowt to do with mates brigade I just personally think that the fact there's no actors in it adds reality that would be lost of actors were brought in Owlstalk Shop
