nethertonowl
May be that's why we are creeping up the league.

bradowl
Could be on for anyone of last 3 games, Bournemouth away they could be clinching promotion, Leeds at home, they want points to stay up and Watford on last day, they need points for promotion. Geörge Whitebread
What am I missing? Why would we be on TV? And if there is some reason that we should at least be in the mix, I'd imagine that the selection criteria will include "offers something in the way of entertainment (goals!)". So there are about 91 league clubs that would be chosen over us.
torres
So most on here won't see us play again this season!!!
archieswfc
I don't like being on tv it knackers crowds up but at the same time it's not really fair. Wednesday fans pay their sky subscription just like anybody else it should be shared our better. I haven't clicked the link but I'm guessing leeds are on quite a lot? helmut_rooster
We have to play l***s again so that will be on like the other 90% of their games this season, people say they don't want us on TV as it lower crowds, but we'll get more cash from being on TV then we can loan more players next time around. Get us on TV every week then we'll be rich.

Leeds on once more between now and end of March. List doesnt include April onwards, so we could stilk be on again this season.

The vast majority pay to see the big games involving the best clubs. Where would the business sense be if they decided to show City, Chelsea etc 5 times less in a season in order to get Millwall and Blackpool on a few more times? If that happened I'd cancel my subscription straight away. I can only afford to watch us play at home but I'm happy enough if we're on the box once or twice away as its a couple of extra games I wouldn't normally be able to see. modboy
just always thought the idea was to spread out the clubs evenly in the Championship. A whole half a season not on sky is a bit crappy tbh. Will hopefully get the odd 3pm game on when playing the "glamour" teams perhaps?

That's premier league though people subscribe to see man u etc. Nobody subscribes to see championship football. And if showing the bigger clubs more often is what happens then we should be on between now and the end of the season considering we're pushing for the play offs and we are one of the biggest clubs in the division. However, it suits me not to be as I'd rather see bigger crowds.
DMX
I'd think the Leeds home game might be on TV if there's a chance of us sending them down.

The game has moved on considerably since then and for anyone under the age of 25 Wednesday are just another team in the Championship. Sad but true. adelphi1867
Our record on TV is poor to say the least, so I am happy we are not on more often.
