But your cynical view of our players is infectious and there are a few others who just go along with it without stopping to think imo. All you ever seem to come out with are words like "not good enough get rid". It's as if you judge them relative to quality of players from 20 years ago rather than relative to what we can afford. Well done Liam Palmer. nah! after a while even the 'appy clappers hands get sore... and then realism surfaces... had we had a decent budget, or a fit buxton he might have ended up a tranmere or oldham player... he has the opportunity, and appears to have something still left in his locker, needs his dad's drive to push on... at present his future appears to be in his own hands, GRAB IT NOW... it may be 3 years on from now he'll be playing league one footy, not premier, but let's see... i do think some must pull themselves off thinking about him, the amount of threads we get for an average (at present) player...
