How important is the Wigan game?

The table is allready starting to divide itself into two halves. With us, currently, leading the bottom half.

If we beat Wigan, we might get a lifeline on to the top half, but if we lose, or even another draw, we will even more drawn into another relegation battle.

This game is MASSIVE, it could be a real season changer for us. I'm sure Gray sees this aswell.

Really hope we go out with all cylinders fired. I say we can not afford anything other than a victory from this one.

Have to get something from this game fear though it will only be another point they are not as bad as there league position suggests and they now have a new manager so with that in mind a point would proberly be right although all three would be amazeing

Very. They have good players, but this is a good time to play them. Poor form, controversy off the pitch. Need to turn this into 3pts.

exactly this.  They have good players, but their league position shows results haven't been good enough and there are no easy games in this league - sooner or later we have to think we can win games and not be scared of the opposition whoever they are.  Some of our fans seemed happy we only lost 3-0 to Watford and it's ok because they are a good side, yet Birmingham who were bottom (or as good as) went and beat them a week or so after we played them.

The lack of goals is scary, and one home win is frankly appalling, as a ST holder £360 per win isn't great value for money - even under DJ where we didn't win until November last year we had won the same amount of home games.  Let's see some attacking play tomorrow Mr Gray, and get some bloody service to May and Nuihi.  Hopefully Mcgugan can show what he's all about too, don't remember him having a touch last Saturday.

Biggest game of the season. A section of the fan base is already turning on Gray. A loss on Saturday will tip them over the edge.

We go a goal down and Hillsborough will be poisonous.
