Guest mkowl
Any Wednesday player that leaves is automatically twice as good as everyone thought when he played here
Bluesteel
I loved him here and thought he did a great job for us. But it was a very specific job. It wasn't one that everybody understood or recognised and it wasn't one that is easy to just transfer to any other team. He played well for us under a very specific set of conditions under Megson and I don't think there's any surprise whatsoever that he's not replicated that anywhere else since. I was thinking the same the other day. He wasn't often able to turn and face goal I'd have had him back if available

captain jack
Is COG worse than Nuhui? It's a no from me, they've got a very good LGE one striker, meanwhile our moral is lower than a snakes belly, cheers swfc
whyte_owl
This is fantastic news. I wouldn't wish this big useless dad running donkey on anyone apart from United. Brighton sussed him out after a couple of games. Some people on here still haven't.
TrickyTrev
Gary Madine will get more goals for Coventry than O'Grady will for the pigs. At League 1 level Madine is far more clinical in front of goal.

This is very trueI wouldn't wish to see either of em up front again for Wednesday tbh
Dore Owl
Not botherered now. What was frustrating was that we were struggling for strikers and goals and sold him and he was banging them. He's been to a couple of other teams now, so it's not quite the same.

Ronio
its easy to slag Cog off now he's joined the pigs. I still rate him, and thought he was a solid pro. Would have him back if it were possible. Always gave his all for us, so I will remember him for that.

He did even better for Barnsley. 16 goals, assists, man of the match performances coming out of his ears and their player of the season. All at Championship level. I never post on this section, but this is so true for every club when a player moves on. . He may work out for us but I reckon 8 goals tops.
