Don't bother posting owt sensible on here.

Two months ago comments such as 'Gray has worked mircales' and 'remarkable' were commonplace, where in actual fact he was just doing a good job.

Now people want Gray sacked which is a ridiculous, its one extreme or the other, no balanced view.

All teams have bad runs, we're on a pretty bad one at the moment, its tough but it'll end.

Overall we're about where we should be.

I do agree that we're doing better than last season. And that's good.

But our recent performances aren't good enough. And we can't accept them just because 'it was worse last season'. That is why this club will never progress. Because we live in the past too much.

It's the same when people defend MM not dipping his hand into his pocket enough?

'But once upon a time we were hours from liquidation'

Yes, and we will all be forever grateful to MM for saving us. But that doesn't mean we should accept and be happy with not competing financially several seasons later. It doesn't mean we should be happy with selling, arguably, our best player & not getting a good enough fee for him.

Live in the present rather than the past. It's not awful right now, it's been worse. I accept that.

But it could be a hell of a lot better with a few seemingly straight forward tweaks.

So lets say we have progressed (which we have to an extent) but what if we stay up with 2 or 3 games to go, will that be considered as progression?

Will just staying in this league each season with a few games to spare be considered as progression?

Don't forget Barnsley's ambition was to stay in the league every season and eventually they failed, just after narrowly escaping the year before.

Has anyone got a form comparison from the last 10 games this season and the last 10 from the same time last year?

This year the last 10 games (from the 9th to 18th fixture) have brought 7 pts. The same fixtures last season brought 10pts.

But don't worry SG is doing an unbelievable job....
