oldishowl
I can understand why you have picked the team you have but can you imagine the reaction on here if we lose after starting with one up front at home

FlyingOwl
Same team but I'd play 4-3-3 rather than 4-5-1. Westwood Palmer Lees Loovens Helan McGugan Semedo Lee Maguire May Drenthe Subs: Kirkland, Dielna, McCabe, Coke, Maghoma, Lavery, Nuhiu Wasn't Saturday GTF's last game here? oldishowl
But does any pairing of strikers you can come up with, give us any more potency than Kivo's side To be honest i don't know. Don't know how much we will get out of May as a loan striker. Also think we have this ability to make 433 very defensive. Obviously if Mcgugan Drenthe and Maguire can get forward into the box it might work. I think May has looked better playing with GTF in the team but acknowledge GTF has not looked the part . Hopefully we will swap him for somebody better before thurs. I think the question is not whether we have a better front 2 , it is whether we can be effective playing a lone striker especially at home. We never have before. Ronio
I reckon Gray will go with a 442. Wigan are seriously struggling and we need to put out 2 strikers to finish them off.

mike312
With the players we have atm, Westwood Palmer Lees Loovens Dielna Drenthe McGugan Semedo Helan May Nuhiu If Coke is fit swap him with Semedo. Tell McGugan to push forward knowing that Semeode/Coke won't budge from about 10 yards off our Centre backs.
