Owls Loyal
A defeat or even a draw against Wigan next week will see the pressure on Gray really ratchet up. In my view it is time to bring in a proven manager and Gray to revert to coaching duties. MM knows it is not working and will not risk his investment going up in smoke. Mr Farrell
Piffle and poppycock of extreme proportions. We are 2 players short of avoiding a relegation struggle. Up to Milan to back Stu with a striker and a winger.

Thats exactly what he is doing by trying to constantly do things on the cheap and ponce off other clubs rather than invest in players of our own. we were promised another striker in the summer ,but six months on he still hasnt arrived. changing manager wont achieve anything. The new one would still have the same small ,poor squad to work with, and would still have the same crappy budget and papering over the cracks policy to work with. Owls Loyal
Gray does not seem to be able to bring in the quality striker we need. Not sure if it is down to lack of contacts or persuasive ability. It is worth reemebering that Big Ron enticed Roland Nilsson when Man Utd were interested. The manager has to be able to sell the club.
parkfieldowl14
Why: Everyone knows it so why not come out & say it. It's very nealy same situation as last season, but this time MM wont wait as long. Grays days are now numbered. Not saying i agree but it's not happening is it. He's brought in bad players. Or at least made bad choices on players, Because i always thought that SG was here for the long haul, but recent results have now started to suggest otherwise. Eightace
Players dont go to clubs because of the manager anymore. I dont want to replace Gray with one of the usual suspects. If we do replace him its got to be someone you wouldn't think of like Koeman or some other new up and coming foreign manager. All the current championship and league one managers are too much of a muchness to make any real difference.

whyte_owl
Gray is doing fine. Leave the guy be. He is if you're an idiot or a Blade. How is 11 games without a win doing fine? Please explain on which planet this is acceptable. No wonder we are poo when too many of our fans are willing to accept this mediocrity. Gray is useless as a manager. Lost the plot after Man City hammered us.
Live the Dream
It amazes me how fickle football fans are. If it was up to the fans, managers wouldn't last 5 minutes. They'd be sacked after every defeat. Look at Newcastle, the Pardew boo boys have gone quiet. Stuart Gray has performed miracles with a dead average squad of players with no real funds to draw on from an owner who wants to get rid and relying on loan players who are mostly rejects who can't get a game with their parent clubs. What do people expect? I thought we played well today and with a bit of luck and a proper ref we'd have come away with 3 points! If we keep in this division, for me, it's job done. Typical idiots response. There's always someone out there....look at Swansea and Southampton. Quality striker - not Gary Taylor Fletcher. I'd rather have Madine back. We don't need a top manager, just someone who dares to cross the halfway line. If you think he is doing a decent job then you are dafter than you look. 0114
Agreed we are strolling towards the relegation. But because we are drawing it covers up the individual performances. Drawing too many games mean we'll sleep walk into League 1.
Guest Hamy33
This poor run goes back to last season too, we'll be in the bottom 3 soon enough if this continues. Gray was screaming at players to get back today, he makes Irvine look positive.
