Pompeyowl Posted November 22, 2014 Share Posted November 22, 2014 I think Maguire pushed it past the defender knowing he was going to commit to the tackle and then made contact with him. No pen. To me pushing the ball past is well within the right of the striker. The reason I say no pen is because he was on his way down before the challenge meaning he was diving. Ref got it right in my eyes.
