One of my favourite away days of the season.

Shame about the early kick off, but just means a few more sherbets afterwards instead.

What is it you like about it so much out of interest?

I only ask as I don't like it all. Seems to take ages to get there despite being relatively local, boozers have been rubbish in my experience and on the 3 times I have been we have yet to score.

In a box for this one I am afraid, so count on us drawing a blank again.

Like you said mate, it is local, which means its relatively cheap to get too and the match ticket is a good price as well.

We always seem to take a good following as well which means its a half decent atmosphere.

Plus we actually go drinking around Leeds before and after, so just get a latish train into Huddersfield.

And over the last couple of seasons, we have done reasonably well at their place. Last season was a good one winning 0-2.

Yeah, I am probably just bitter about missing the 2 wins the in recent years. Instead my record is:

0-0 with sibon sent off

0-1 with Alex Bruce sent off

0-0 with helan been booked twice (but not sent off).

In those 3 games I reckon we had a total of 2 shots on target. If that.m

The one before Helen getting sent off was a joke as well.

We lost 0-1 under Irvine in the freezing cold - total abject display.

Arrived at the station, escorted to the ground to be told there would be serving . Got to the ground 1.30 hours before kick - no alcohol. Absolutely nothing to do, other than freeze my gonads off.

Horrendous display.

Hopefully mate, you will break your duck this season!

Yeah, I forgot about that one. Was on TV was it not? We just stood off their guy and invited him to shoot. Which he did.

Went to this one last two years. The one where Helan sent off was probably the worst game I've seen in my life, and that's no joke. I seem to remember the closest thing to a chance was a tame header from Madine at a corner, nobody did anything all game. We sold out though, the atmosphere was great, not quite so great when some pr1ck set off a smoke bomb right behind me so I could barely breathe for 5 minutes. I might be going this year, depends on work. Can't see us getting anywhere near selling out which is going to be disappointing.
