losing the dressing room

Recommended Posts

Losing confidence in us having the best defence in the league and being in the best postion we've held in the league for 6 seasons? Don't see it myself

Doesn't matter how we are performing there will always be some fans wanting to moan - its what they live for.

how can a squad that lets be honest isnt very good and as only lost 3 league games in 3 month´s be accused of not playing for the manager .....just coz someone who gets hauled off and shows disappointment doesnt mean the manager as lost the dressing room ,the manager who loses the dressing room is the one who gives in to the players and i dont see gray doing that .

Inevitable that this will happen. Saturday was first time I've seen signs that the players are frustrated at decisions made by Gray. Nuhiu, May, Maguire, Lee, palmer and Madine all made no secret of being p1ssed off with various instructions, situations and team mates. Chopping and changing in desperation is evident from the stands, so the playing and coaching staff will feel it also. Losing confidence is the catalyst for failure and I reckon were just starting along this road.

Well if thats the case, they should all buckle down and do as the manager asks of them and also give 100% effort ! !

Think your reading to much in to it and being listening to too many pundits

I don't think Gray is losing the dressing room, far from it.

We've racked up 9 clean sheets this season and have the best defensive record in the league and fans think we're losing the dressing room.

We are also only 4 points from the playoffs.

We didn't lose, though. Not that you'd know it reading half of the threads on here over the weekend!

0-0 against a team just relegated from the Premier League? Pass the cyanide!

True but Nuhiu looked baffled to be brought off and Maguire din't pass go and collect £200 pounds before he ran down the tunnel.

So you can see where the OP is coming from

As others have said we were never really out of the game but when it comes to the final third of the pitch we haven't a clue..where as every time Norwich attacked you could see a goal if it wasn't for Westwood being in inspired form

It does make you wonder, why are we so poor in the final third. Lack of belief, imagination, confidence? What do they do in training everyday? We've seen ex players prove themselves at other clubs after being poo here, is it an internal factor within the club where we strictly authorise our players not to use creativity

there was the point on Saturday when Drenthe was more or less at the byline and looked up and there was no one within 20 yards looking getting anywhere near to the box so he just crossed it any way as he had players bearing down on him.

Is it just case of us spending too much being focused on not conceding?

tbh  if we could answer these questions we wouldn't be on here we'd be on the coaching staff

It is a strange one because we seem to dominate games for 75% of the pitch and we can keep hold of the ball and dictate play but it's that last bit that's missing

its probably more to do with the fact watford and norwich have such top players, our whole 11 was too busy busting a gut trying to contain them, .... yet we hit the post v Brentford, not a coincidence....

im sure we will make chances vs the rotherhams/charlton and even bournemouth, not saying we will beat them, all 3 games could go either way. but none of them sides are watford or norwich (or forest/derby/ipswich an maybe reading for that matter)

granted bounemouth are a good side, attacking wise, but you can get at them defensively.
