Magnificent defence, miserable attack

We're rubbish at home it's as simple as that. Gray needs to change the system at home otherwise nothing will alter.  I suppose it makes a refreshing change from being rubbish away

Got that right...

May and Semedo ended up as the midfield creative engine on Tuesday when Madine came on for Lee.

Needless to say, not a lot happened!

I don't get why May drifts into midfield?  Is it to try and make things happen himself and dropping deep to retrieve the ball? Is he being told to play there?

It's because he's muscled out by the bigger, stronger, quicker, more skillful and perceptive defenders than he's used to north of the border. So he tries to lose them by drifting into areas that cause them no problems. He's hiding because he knows that he's up against it.

Steve MacLean used to do the same. Never wanted the ball in advanced areas because we'd lose possession immediately.

Madine's taller and a bit "tougher' (when he's tanked up with his jibend mates); but no different really. In defenders' pockets all afternoon. Easy!

Maguire has the same problem, but has managed to reinvent himself as a midfielder. I personally think we'd be better with Maguire up there than May.

Even better would be to put Drente up top. Defenders don't like it when he starts larking about with it. Mad skills innit!

May has been very disappointing after all the hype. I hope he comes good, but struggling to see it from his performanxes so far...
