Guest ReytGoodFootyPlayer
Stuart Gray is nothing but a clone of Dave Jones. Yeah, he has started well but the signs are showing, just like last season. Gray has been with Jones too long. Jones talked about square pegs in round holes – Gray is playing players out of position Jones wanted two fast wingers to get down the flanks and cut inside – Gray is playing Mags on the wrong wing. Its not working. Our play ONLY comes from the wing and its achieving nothing. Jones said that he wanted to play the same players every game to maintain consistency – Grey said the same, only he keeps changing his starting 11. Jones stuck with Bothroyd for far too long when it was obvious he needed dropping – You guessed it, Grey is doing the same. Grey is a great coach, but it ends there. We need a Manager and Grey back to doing what he does best.

IstillhateSteveBould
You'll probably get slaughtered for this thread, but I've got to say, some of our recent performances have reminded me of the DJ era. Abandoning possession football more and more, looking for the long ball in to Nuhiu frequently.... Don't really want to compare the 2 though. Much prefer Gray. camffiti
Unrealistic Expectations - When Be Reyts Turn Bad camffiti, on 18 Oct 2014 - 4:11 PM, said: When we settle back down, to where we should be, people are going to start on Gray again After a(nother) summer of cutbacks ... People need to move on from the notion that we're (slowly) building our way back to the Prem. It's not building, when you sell / give back, your best performing players every year. It's putting unrealistic pressure on our succession of managers Norwich, Southampton, Wolves & even Bristol City, have shown / are showing, how to react to relegation to League 1 ... Both Sheffield clubs have reacted differently to the above. In reality, we're all just waiting for a more committed owner (including Milan himself) ... Or for the money structure of football to implode - Whichever comes first.
Guest Hamy33
There is no doubt the good start is over and we have hit bad form, the football is also very defensive. Rotherham for example have more or less caught us using a more attacking style.
Guest ReytGoodFootyPlayer
If im wrong, why are there threads about players being out of position? Why are there threads about players who should be dropped and aren’t, yet consistently put in bad performances? Money doesn’t change any of the above

I would like to see Semedo used less though as he doesn't seem to be able to pass the ball forward
