Mediocre point in what will end up being a mediocre mid table season

I wish people would stop saying this,

Our recent form (3 points from the last 5 games) is relegation form. Our lack of goals make reversing this diffcult.

We are heading straight into a relegation battle.

Good point, we hit the bar and post, looked threatening at points, and were pretty solid defensively.

Kieran Lee doesn't look fully fit yet, he's not having the influence in the centre we've been used to.

Palmer had a great second half at the back. Drenthe is the new JJ, he'll be great if we can get him fit and keep him...

From what I saw of Drenthe on Saturday I was very impressed

His first shot sailed over the bar into row 15

It took JJ six months to hit one that low

Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife.

Why are people disappointed with a mid-table finish this season?? The last 2 Seasons We have been looking over our shoulder with 2 games left...mid table is an improvement and steps in the right direction.

Just accept that this season will be boring with nothing to play for and which ever way you look at it...it's an improvemt

Happy with a point

Happy with the season so far

Just need to win a few homes to quieten the moaners

We need any win to keep us from dropping quickly into a relegation battle.

We won 1 from 6 and home, scoring 3 goals in those 6 games.

Any fans of any club would not be happy with this.

FFS, on recent form we are not going to have a mid table finish.. How hard is this to understand.

It's not difficult to understand. It's also not difficult to think that we're doing better than last season and that a respectable finish is more likely than a relegation battle. You've hardly presented some irrefutable proof that we're going to struggle.

Nothing is irrefutable. However we are sliding down the league. We haven't maintained a mid table position.

Our form after the  23rd August, would see us finish on 51 points - a couple of point above the drop zone in most season, but relegated in 12/3

Our form, last 5 games would see us comfortably relegated.

Our main problem, lack of goals isn't a blip or a goal drought that is likely to end.

Connor Wickham came to our aid last season. Are we going to get another???
