No doubt this is in the wrong section, so please feel free to move (but I'd be extremely grateful if you didn't??)

On Thursday night this week, I will be doing my most terrifying fund raising event ever. In support of Weston Park Cancer Charity I, along with several other business people from the Sheffield area will be on stage at the City Hall, for 10 minutes, hoping that I can manage 10 minutes of stand-up comedy, and to not die on stage... (I don't mean in the Tommy Cooper way).

Obviously theres a fair few on here would find that funny either way lol

As part of my fund raising efforts for this event - Trevdi has donated 5 of his fabulous signed prints for auction. I'm selling them as a set, and am open to bids. If the winning bidder likes, I can try and organise for one of the prints to be signed by the squad. I'm extremely grateful to everyone who has donated so far, currently I'm up to £1580.00 of my target of £2000.00.

BID HERE - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sheffield-Wednesday-Football-Print-Collection-signed-by-artist-/261632442507?

I've posted these prints on here and on Facebook - and will publish regularly where we are up to with donations until they are sold. Closing bid will be at 5pm on Wednesday evening.

Please be generous, this is a terrible disease, and obviously with todays news, its at the forefront of peoples minds.

If anyone would just like to make a donation - my Justgiving page is here. You can even post an abusive message along with your donation.  https://www.justgiving.com/NigelShortFunnyBusiness/

Thanks to everyone for your support - Owlstalk has been a very benevolent supporter of me and fundraising in the past - every time I go to Weston Park for a check up they remind me of the £10,000.00 Owlstalk raised just a few years ago.

All the best

So they're on Facebook and on here and nobody can see what the bids are ?

People can bid on the page - and if I get any bids on Facebook I will post them on here too

Yes very sad - she was so desperate to just get one more Christmas with her family - and was on Loose Women on Friday.

Unfortunately this bloody awful disease respects no one
