TaxiMark
So it wasn't one of the worse decisions that you have ever seen? Marginal or clutching at straws? Initially I thought it was the two, like I've said, I did not know why the ref thought the other player wasn't interfering though do you? Keep the sarcastic comments coming though, nothing changes with you does it
SiJ
It was a borderline decision and most of us wouldn't have known one way or another had we been linesman. Let's not hide behind a potential mistake, as we were absolute flipping turd until the 60th minute when I buggered off.

It's called trying to be balanced, isn't it Seth?
Leaping Lannys Perm
Liam, when the ball was played for him he was off by 3-4 yards mate.Wrong. Take the blinkers off mate. It's tight I'll admit. No more than a foot either way.

TaxiMark
Wrong. Take the blinkers off mate. It's tight I'll admit. No more than a foot either way. As I've said, I initially thought it was two players, the one who is yards off is deemed not to be interfering with play, but in my book he is and should be off, no blinkers on here. The other one is still off as well, so it's off. Read the thread fully. Edited October 18, 2014 by TaxiMark

ReadingOwl
Did you go today? Now I know you are on the wind up. 4 hours for that dirge + entrance fee + diesel. To be in a bad mood like you? SiJ
We looked like relegation fodder today. Watford are a quality side but it was far, far too easy for them. Defensively sloppy, lacking any real quality and aimless hoofing up front. Must do a lot better.
Liam_Baggies
There you go reading, off. Expecting a referee to call that is ridiculous to be honest We've seen two photos and we're still none the wiser and we're expecting a referee to get it in a split second. A better discussion would be why our defenders are so far up the pitch and are playing offside when there is no pressure on the ball.

Liam_Baggies
How can you not be interfering with play 3 yards from the through ball? Then ultimately score? Also ahead of play when tapping in a forward pass so offside twice. He isn't interfering with play. He becomes active and interfering when Vydra is deemed as onside. Also, the second pass which resulted in the goal was fine. He was behind Vydra who made the pass.

Guest DontblametheRef
It was a goal. The ref gave it. End of. That ref was better than most this season. We were totally outclassed by afar superior team, whose players were quicker to everything, better on the ball and had better distribution. We are half decent like half the division and good now and again, they were much, much better than us. It happens it happened, move on...! Absolutely spot on. They had better players than us, just deal with it. We were not that poor it's just that Watford were better with and without the ball. They were good to watch, particularly Vydra he's class. And thats the Law of offside...you don't like it you shove yer hand up before the season starts...not during it. It was marginal, no way the bloody Kop could tell..but we all shout for it..a few boo and all of a sudden its the crime of the century...They would have beaten us eventually...We were crap...they were pretty good

Did you take the photos' with your own camera, or somert? Because if you're going to make sarcastic comments to someone who has been to the match, then you go on to offer your balanced view about the ref and game itself without even going then it kind of makes you look like a mug pal, just saying like. 33
Next time a goal against up is disallowed, I'm go on a tell the linesman that Reading isn't here. Bet he puts his flag back down...?
