Paul Triplo
Could Nuhiu be more effective playing in a different position? His work rate is that of a box to box midfielder, but does he have the skills to be our new Carlton Palmer? I live in Australia so I can only comment at what I have seen on TV and he seems to have some decent footwork, but can he pick a pass? Answers on a postcard please from those who are in a more fortunate and geographically friendly position to see more of him than I can.
FlyingOwl
It'd take him half an hour to run box to box

Lord Snooty
The only way he could EVER work in midfield would be at the spear head of a triumvirate. The other two being fit , hard working grafters with plenty of legs.
Mr Farrell
give me strength. We'll be trying him at centre half next. We don't half love a trier.

Paddyowl
I've heard he's a people person, so why not try him in the Mega Store. On a serious note, why oh why would we want to see him in midfield ? He's our top scorer at the minute, he works his socks off for the team and is complimented by opposition managers. Some strange threads on Owlstalk recently (More strange than usual)

Flat Owl
We've already got Stevie May and Semedo doing Cokes job - if Atdhe has do it as well then we might as well go 4:6:0 and be honest with our chances of barely managing a goal a game. As much as I stick up for Nuhiu, putting him in midfield would seem madness, why?
Davidioso
The best place for him is on the bench. Don't you see the work he does Jon? He is involved with link up play in the majority of our attacking moves. He gives the others time. He holds it up excellently. Centre halves hate playing against him. Unlike Madine who generally loses balance and falls over.

When Gray decides to play this formation on Saturday when we're all over L**ds and he sees the need to defend a 1-0 lead, I'm going to blame you!
