Bluesteel
It was the piggy back that did it. Strachan loves stuff like that
OWLS about that?
abart time, not sure how the lad can score 27 goals last season then get a move to such a huge club & not get a call up sooner Innit! if he breaks into the team and gets regular games it can only be a good thing for us in terms of his club form. Hopefully he'll celebrate and smash a few in tonight!

matthefish2002
From a Wednesday point of view for me this is not good news. Ideally resting when the international break is on. But well done to him personally, hope he is a success.

Steven Fletcher (Sunderland) Steven May (Sheffield Wednesday) Chris Martin (Derby County) Steven Naismith (Everton) Are Fletcher and Naismith getting games at club level? He's obviously done enough to earn a call up, it's now down to him to force Strachan's hand to get him to give him a game. Smashing in a couple tonight will help

townend_owl
Fantastic news for May and perfect for us in my eyes. Gets to train with an international team that's really starting to pick up and alongside some decent premiership players. Can only help him improve - and if he gets a sub appearance or 2 even better.
