Guest JonTheOwl66
Fair odds? We're 9/2 to get a result after 90 minutes. City are 8/11 to score more than 3 I'd say they're fair really.
FreshOwl
By get a result do you mean if we draw or win? Cos that's poo if so
FlyingOwl
Of course they're fair. Won't stop me betting on Tom Lees to score first and Wednesday to win 1-0. We shouldn't win on Wednesday. On paper they should embarrass us. But, as cliché as it sounds, football isn't played on paper. 11 vs 11...anyone can win.
WayneTheOwl
At the moment if anyone can spring a surprise from the Championship it is us. That said, if we can keep it to 3, I wouldn't be too upset. I hope Gray fields our strongest 11 and gives us a fighting chance, I am sure he will, everyone will be up for this one plus we are taking 7000 fans with us. owls66
They're not going to annihilate us with the second string, albeit a very strong second string squad. I'm not expecting a result but I don't see us getting completely battered.

With the likes of Jesus Navas, Lampard, Clichy etc, likely to start, their "second string" isn't a million miles behind their starting 11.

matthefish2002
Our only real chance is if Man City take the game too lightly. I can remember Man Utd losing a couple of times in the League Cup to the likes of Southend and Coventry over last ten years so its not impossible. FreshOwl
Anythings possible. They lost at home to stoke the other week. May be worth a bit on a draw as a single
