Ronio
Westwood 9 - Immense today, kept us in the game. Fantastic save from the pen and another clean sheet. MoM for me. Palmer 6 - Not his best game today. Loovens 7 - Solid as usual and gives us that experience at the back. Lees 9 - Rock solid today, put in a series of quality tackles and headers from the back. Mattock 7 - Reliable at the back, unlucky not to score second half Maguire 6 - Hasn't looked his usual self. Semedo 8 - Another great performances from Semedo. Great run down the left to set up Hope. Coke 6 - Didn't have the greatest impact today. Maghoma 7 - Started pretty lively, did a decent job when moved to the centre. Nuhiu 7 - Worked his socks off as usual. Unlucky to not get a pen having been dragged down in the box. May 8 - Worked the channels well, did well to get the ball in back of net. Hope 7 - Looked very lively, and unlucky not to score today. Helan 7 - Did what was needed when coming on. Dielna 6 - Wasn't on the pitch long enough to have an impact. Helped keep it tight at the back in the end. Referee 0 absolutely shocking refereeing today. Worst i've seen in a while. Gray 10 Got the lineup and subs absolutely spot on today. Fantastic win today and we are sat nicely in 6th place. Thoughts? gurujuan
Interesting ratings. Who were the players who were consistently beaten in the air from corners, it seemed like we had a real problem with their set plays
BigOwl
6 is harsh on Maguire. His interplay with May caused Reading loads of problems. 7 is more realistic

Reading look a strong side from set pieces, I think they'll trouble a number of sides from them.

So which of our defenders were at fault then? Of course I' m happy, another clean sheet and Stevie May scores again

But as a team we were brilliant. So tight and hard to beat. Never look like conceding. Need more threatening attacks though.

richowl
No outstanding performers but Westwood is a 10? Westwood kept us in it. What a signing. Semedo was our best outfield player imo (though the defence did their thing again! )

Dagmeister
Interesting ratings. Who were the players who were consistently beaten in the air from corners, it seemed like we had a real problem with their set plays Reading have obviously worked on their corners. They were especially dangerous in the second half; knocked beyond the far post where one of their big men kept finding space from quite deep. mike312
Westwood - 8 Saved a penalty a couple of other really good saves. Mattock - 7 solid enough, some good attacking play. Loovens - 7 Good pperformance.didn't win everything though. Lees - 7 See Loovens. Palmer - 6 Thought he was a bit poor today. Looks happier going forward. Maghoma - 7 Carried a threat going forward but sometimes makes the wrong decision. Semedo -8 Excellent at breaking up play. Even got into the box today! Coke -7 Solid enough without setting the world on fire. Macguire -5 Simple passes went astray, shooting poor. Be lucky to reyain his place on recent performances. May -8 Never stopped running, scored and looked more threatening than he has before. Nuhiu -7 Not his best match. Does hold the ball up well though. Hope -6 I thought he had pace, I was wrong. Could and should have scored. Helan -7 His pace gets us up the field quickly. Some decision making is iffy. Will be unlucky not to replave macguire against city. Dielna -6 Not really on long enough to influence the game but slotted in no problem. Overall not our best performance and Reading should have won. The officials were awful. Their penalty was a penalty but we should have had one for handball. Makes up for Bolton.
Guest tha_knows
Thought Semedo was MOM today, had his best game in a while, absolutely solid, challenged for everything. Westwood, Lees and May the other stand out players aswell. Dunno what's up with Maguire of late, just doesn't seem himself, decision making poor, doesn't seem to make the right runs. Referee, well honestly iv seen some dreadful performances from refs but his has to be one of the worst ever.

Coke's form seems to have dipped lately, as it often does, and I like Maguire but not much seems to be coming off for him at the moment.
0114
No outstanding performers but Westwood is a 10? I meant as in outfield. No player really wowed anyone today in an attacking sense. Yet I never really felt threatened. Was a gritty 1-0 against a side that will be up there without really playing to our capability. They are the sort of results that separate mid table and play off teams.
