We can be nothing other with the tight lean squad we have - everyone contributed after an out of sorts first half and our worst 45 minute display for some time. The trouble for the bluenoses was that we were very effective in the second half as well as defensively solid - we had the quality when it mattered. Essix Blue Posted September 19, 2014 Share Posted September 19, 2014 That's what I thought of Burnley last season when they beat us at Hillsborough. They ended up going up with a pretty average and functional side. Putting our chances away(or not), will determine how we finish this season. If we're clinical, there's no reason why we can't finish in the top 6 this season. Defensively we seem to be strong. Absolutely agree - Burnley is a great example of an average yet well led side getting promoted.... What they DID have was Ings banging the goals in...........
