Because, unless we get a midfielder of some sort of creative quality in before the Reading game, we're living a charmed life in that midfield without Lee and Hutchinson. Palmer would give us that energy and range of passing that we're desperate for. Coke is a steady eddie, keeps things ticking over. But we need more than that now to move onto the next level. We need more than that to win our home games. It's not as if we'd be changing a centre half either, or a right back for another right back of inexperience and tendancy to be dodgy. Wednesday_Jack Posted September 18, 2014 Share Posted September 18, 2014 It's hard to make changes based on the size of our squad but for me Maguire and maghoma need to be dropped and made to work their way back in, both haven't hit form this season and Maguire seems to be very "comfy" at the moment. But I think we need something different in midfield, Reading are no mugs in that area. Swapping Buxton for Palmer, and replacing Coke with Palmer in midfield wouldn't upset the defence too much would it?
