ozzieowl
I know he gets mixed opinions on here but think its a shame we sold him. I know we got Stevie out of the deal but seems to be having great start to season. Great goal tonite. Won a pen. Assisted Patersons goal. Few goals n assists already this season. Seems to have fit in well there. Would have been interesting to see him play in our new confident style of play. If it's right he wanted to go n play with better players then so be it, hope that bites him in the bum.

CrosbyKitchens
I think we are better without him. Good luck to him personally, hope he does well.
Groundhopping Owl
I think we are better without him. Good luck to him personally, hope he does well. I agree, he's better off at Forest where he doesn't think everything has to go through him all the time. Good luck to him and all that and I'm sure he'll turn into a solid championship player but Gray clearly didn't like his style of play so imo we're better off without him and with May up front. wickersleyowl
didnt work for us had a poor last few months of his career with us. deadwood as far as im concerned, we made a profit and signed a quality striker with the money. No issues.
Herb
We have a stronger TEAM without him. If we were won of the 'big hitters' in this league we could afford to have him as a 'squad player' possibly..
Guest UpTheOwlsss
Problem is with Antonio we relied on him way too much At forest he's one of the many talented players Assombalonga Burke Osborn etc so hes not relied on as heavily Since he's gone we work as a team and its better for us
SiJ
Has anyone thought that maybe, just maybe he wouldn't have recreated this form for us had he stayed? Guy has moved on, joined a new club on the up and is playing with arguably as talented a group of players as there is in the entire division. We ain't exactly made a bad start after selling him on. Ronio
Didn't want him to leave. Think we sold him too cheaply. He will be playing in the Premiership next season.

FlyingOwl
He didn't want to be here. My only gripe is that Forest, in hindsight, have had our pants down with the price they paid. Let's hope we included lots of ridiculous add ons in the deal. £100,000 if he gets 10 goals, £100,000 if they get promoted, 25% of the sell on fee etc. In any case, his legs are too big for him to play many more games without picking up a muscle injury of sorts that will see him out for half the season. Dagmeister
He's thrived on the change of scenery just like Lees has with us. We made a tidy profit on him that allowed us to bring in May and most probably paved the way for the Dielna contract and Drenthe loan too. Good move for player, Forest and us IMO. benni8
There is a reason he is gone. If he was playing for a poor team he wouldnt be hitting his current ratio. He is playing for arguably one of the top 2 teams in the league. Better players/teams create more chances. We used to play the same football with him in the team and when it paid off it was good... When it didnt the amount of times i was away and wanted to scream at him was more often than not. We play football now.. a better unit.. not conceeding.. and enjoying our best football/season in years. Right choice so just let it go
Kanye West
We're better without him. Don't see the point in threads about him anymore though, he's not our player, he left, we move on
Swiss Toni
Forest play a different way to us and it suits Antonio. He didn't perform that well under Gray because he likes his players to track back and play a pressing game. We are currently a better unit without Antonio as our recent results are showing. Skyline
He's a good player, but I think he had the wrong attitude for us, he was the "main man" and I don't think Gray wanted people like that. He's gone to Forest, no longer the main man and actually playing better for it (as well as not having the ball pumped long and told to chase it). We on the other hand are playing much better without him - win, win situation IMO. The fee is now looking quite low, but that's football. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't. Also, what will help for him at Forest, because they have a few good players, managers can't just turn up and get his team to mark Antonio out of the game, whereas with us you could. WalthamOwl
Great player when he wants to play. His form this season is putting Maguire and Maghoma to shame.
Semedo's ferret
He didn't want to play for us. Last few games he managed to get kitted up his bottom lip was rubbing on his boot laces. Mardy tw@t.
