Referendum - how will you be voting ?

Recommended Posts

So let's say there's a referendum coming up and the vote is to decide whether there should be be a North/South divide in the Championship, so that the leagues are divided up geographically.

This means we would be playing clubs from Newcastle down to Derby (geography wise) and the southern teams like Yeovil, Arsenal, Bournemouth etc would all be playing each other

This would increase attendances, away travel would be easier and more accessible etc but at the cost of not playing southern teams very often

Would you vote YES for this ?

Or would you vote NO ?

What about the weekend's away in Brighton and Bournemouth?

They should reintroduce the old north-south split for the two lower divisions.

Current set up is unfair on tinpot clubs like SUFC and Barnsley. They don't have the petrol money for trips to Plymouth and Yeovil.

On the back of the Scotland vote and a United Britain. How about a reverse of this and have a British league? 8 divisions, 1 to 4 are UK wide, 4 - 8 are north / south. Top 4 of the North / South leagues play promotion play offs against each other to decide the top 2.

Maybe not
