Guest Sheff Owl
Nothing about the result tonight but in terms of recruitment. We have made a good start to the season and we want that to continue but how can it be possible with such a small squad? We will pick up injuries and just tiredness in general with the amount of games you have to play. I feel sorry fro Gray because all we are doing is waiting and waiting on Premiership teams to get their sh*t in order, he was even saying tonight that we have development players we can put in the squad, now i'm all for bringing though youth players but seriously? I know this summer all the crap regarding the takeover has hammered us but it does seem every summer we never seem to get our house in order with the required players and just wait for loans. Kelher, Lavary, Lee, Hutchinson, Buxton all currently injured and it will only take another one or two and we will be in deep poo. You just know what's gonna come tho, Premiership teams ain't letting players out yet, we have calls in, we are trying which is fair enough and come the 1st of September will will probably have 1 new addition and then get told the loan window opens in a week so we will try then. I know Gray can't do much but he's doing a cracking job with his arm and leg tied, you can't work with such a thin squad and not pick up injuries. Mr Farrell
Fear is the solid start crumbles into relegation mire. Don't think it will, but after the last few seasons, it's always in the back of the mind.
HirstWhoScoredIt
Our squads big enough. Loads of people said so after the Brighton match. Even though I pointed out our bench had the strength of a soggy digestive.

Not sure about the Premiership not letting players out. Plenty have left on loan, 89 by my reckoning, including plenty of good ones We need to get busy, quickly
Kanye West
We'd have won if Hutchinson was still on, we crumbled when he went off Need another winger who can provide for the strikers because they're getting bugger all, and maghoma is turning into JJ. Madine and May upfront for me Saturday, Nuhiu simply doesn't do enough.
Bluesteel
I can't see this unbeaten run lasting with the injuries piling up. Also whilst 5 points looks good. 2 points from 2 home games doesn't. We lack a bit of pace away from home I think
Guest Sheff Owl
We probably need to add at least 3 players but can anyone really see that happening? The injuries are a joke and instead of trying to cover ourselves it's left us vulnerable again, we knew/know our luck with injuries. All this Premiership squad decisions etc should all be done before the season starts, as Gray has said we are waiting on teams giving us a 'yes' and we know they won't be in any kind of rush. With all this waiting you would hope that the players/s we are targeting have something about them.
Maddogbob
Agree with the above we need 3 minimum as the cracks are starting to show. Injuries will come. Tiredness will also play a part. Loans & frees are out there if were not going to blood youth.
Saxondale
We're a totally different team without Lee & Hutchinson in it. Yes, very worrying in the middle without either if them. Semedo just doesn't want to take the ball of anyone. Where as Lee will take it with 2 players in him. We need a like for like player in Lee's mould. Also we haven't replaced Antonio, if he's banking on Helan being our main impact sub then I'm worried.
Guest wayne foster
I think our first 11 are a match for anyone, its just the extra 3/4 players of equal quality on the bench we are missing. If we don't get them in I think it's a real opportunity missed this season to challenge for a top six spot.

oh_weds_we_love_you
Milan is happy for Wednesday to survive in the Championship whilst he is the owner. He'll be spending as little as possible to achieve this - we've seen that for the previous Championship season's. The decent start will have firmly put recruitment on the back burner. Ignore the spin about challenging, pushing on, not hanging around, and any other phrase he uses. Championship survival by spending as little as possible is the name of the game. Sooner people accept this, the better for their health.

Yeah our squad is very thin and short on quality in forward areas, but we do have players who can come in and do a job, if they are used sparingly, and in the right way. It baffles me why he scared to take a shot on, he came here with a reputation of being a goalscoring midfielder??
