Regardless of whether the May one was also, referees usually even things up, so I was surprised he didn't give it. Overall I thought the referee had a good game, and let the game flow. Groundhopping Owl Posted August 19, 2014 Share Posted August 19, 2014 (edited) The ref went out of his way by a country mile to ensure that Millwall didn't lose.Totally agree, I know it sounds bitter and twisted and I'll probably regret this post in the morning, but he was absolutely abysmal, he missed clear fouls by both sides, failed to let the game flow or keep it under control, awarded an absolutely farcical penalty which was a foul on our keeper, made a meal of it, then missed an easy one at our end where Forde simply pulled May's legs out from under him (that was what it looked like from the Kop).
