nuneatonowl1
Been up to M'bro once before with SWFC but that was Ayrsesome Park (the 2-0 loss in our promotion season). Only done the Riverside once, to only watch Nuneaton (local team where I live) in a cup replay. It was fine drinking in the town centre that night but wasn't sure where most Owls fans drink on an away day up there. Daughter (an Owl) and son in law (Mackem) live up in the North East so staying up there and planning to get the bus and have a few beers pre match .. Do most people drink outside the town eg Yarm or other places . Basically after a pub near the centre with loads of Owls in . Any help appreciated Edited August 17, 2014 by nuneatonowl1

richowl
Yarm is the place to be.
TheEnchanter
Been to Dr Browns in the town centre before and might do that again this time. It was decent enough. If the majority are drinking in Yarm how far is it to the ground from their?

northeastowl
Plenty of pubs in the town centre, got the usual wetherspoons, walkabout, barracuda, lloyds plus others. Walkabout had the most amount if owls in last year. There or doctor browns.
nuneatonowl1
cheers for all the replies, much appreciated ... If none of us fancy driving, it sounds like town centre will be okay to drink in... cheers

matthefish2002
Middlesborough is a dump but there is plenty of proper pubs about. Still can not get over a club in probably the poorest town in the country can charge £31 for a ticket.

Plus we are often a 'category A' standard game for a lot of teams.
