lewishughes051
Don't know if there's already a thread for this but does anyone know how many tickets they've sold?

PeteG_1984
Just been speaking to a Geordie at work who reckons they'll bring a few as it's a relatively short distance for them

sage owl
Which is odd, as Newcastles actually a friggin' long way away (in distance, time, culture, evolution etc.) And money spent on players, seasons spent in top flight, average attendances etc.
0191Owl
Well it takes about two and a half hours to get from Newcastle to Sheffield so I'd expect a decent turnout.
Guest Steve French
From the Geordies next door to me they are all a but unhappy. Their club (apparently) won't sell them tickets without them being season ticket holders or members, so cheapest way to get tickets is to spend £30 or whatever it is (can't remember what they said) on becoming a member then £15 on the ticket. I think they said the official allocation was 7,000? Either way, they've all been phoning us to get tickets for £15 so expect a fair few in the wrong place.
