POWP
According to the BBC Oldham Athletics Home and Away kits have yet to turn up so they've had to cancel the kit release "photocall". So our issues may not just be down to our clubs commercial department as some have hinted, nor the issues with late sponsorship being sorted. Sounds like it could really be that Sondico/Sport Direct have really made a complete mess up this year. "The League One club are waiting for home and away strips from new suppliers Sports Direct and have been playing pre-season games in training gear." "A club spokesman said they would unveil a new away strip on Thursday with the home kit to be revealed on 7 August, two days before the season kicks off." "Oldham signed a six-figure sponsorship deal with Sports Direct in the summer. As part of the deal the firm are to open a new store at SportsDirect.com Park and supporters have been told they will be able to order the new kits, when they are available, online or from local Sports Direct stores. A spokesman said: "We look forward to unveiling our new kit and seeing the fans wearing it." http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28522535 How on earth have they managed to get kits out in previous years? TheEnchanter
That's what you get with Sondico. It's no surprise.
FlyingOwl
Christ. There is a team worse off than us kit wise. Anyone notice that yesterday Kirkland was wearing the black kit we wore vs Bury.

Paul..
So not only are Oldham's kits made by Sondico a brand owned by Mike Ashley but their sponsor is SportsDirect owned by Mike Ashley? They're double doomed!

alan48
More concerned that we are lacking players of quality to wear any of our old kits .When they do arrive they'll be sold at rip-off prices , so dont really understand why it's such an anxious issue for some . MotherGoose
Glovers delay sale of the home and away kit due to unforeseen circumstances. Following advice from our kit manufacturers Sondico, Yeovil Town will be delaying the sale of their new home and away kit until late August. Sondico apologies for this delay, but they want to ensure that the quality of the products meet the high standards set in previous years. Graphics of the new home strip will be revealed on ytfc.net at 11am this morning (Friday 25th). The new away shirt will be revealed in due course. Orlando_Trustful
It's a minor miracle that manufacturers like Sondico actually exist. Awful in every single aspect.
MotherGoose
Apparently Yeovil got a batch, but they were terrible and sent them all back.

Orlando_Trustful
So we can stop moaning at our commercial department now...Well, they aren't exactly blame free. Did you see the new home shirt advertisement they released? I have zero knowledge of photography or editing etc, but I'm sure I could knock up something more professional than what those goons did. walrus
i can only assume no one at Sondico actually knows when the football season starts and don't work to any deadlines
The Batman
Apparently Yeovil got a batch, but they were terrible and sent them all back. So we can stop moaning at our commercial department now... No because they should've done what Yeovil did and send them back, not sell factory seconds to our supporters for full price.
Saxondale
And to think a lot of the know-it-alls on here were blindly saying it doesn't matter what brand we have. Deary me.
