We have limped through a two seasons borrowing players just to keep our head above water. Interesting that the two teams who went straight up last year had settled squads that they had built. We're not even at that stage are we. At the right end of the table is above halfway. That would be a great season, top 6 just to far out of reach for now. I'll be well p*ssed off with "Top half of table" crap this year.... Don't get me wrong..I'll have a season ticket for the year after..cos I'm daft...but I begrudge Milan or whoever knowing that I'm daft and playing on it...(oops sorry..forgot to say xbana Milan there) The loyalty of Wednesday is only recognised for what it is...by Wednesday fans...Milan or Mammadov..or Whoever the foo.ook is running the club have no idea of what it is about...What keeps me trawling to Hillsborough, is sheer ingrained brought up on blue and white stuff..Milan knows nowt of that..no matter how many times he pats me on the back..Mammadov?..well lets wait and see... I'm not fooled by the platitudes..I know I'm fookin' idiot..I revel in the fact I'm and idiot..I revel in the fact Ive drawn me whole family into the shambles..I revel in the fact me Grandad dragged me into it..I LOve Wednesday..Up, Down,Middlin'..wherever they are in the league... I'm afraid yes your right it probably will be another meaningless season. What we want if that is the case is for us to start building a team with players that we own. In the last two years as a playing squad we have gone virtually nowhere, such has been the reliance on loans. Our fans have stuck with this club over decades of mismanagement, crap managers, abysmal players, suing, name calling, venomous this..cretin that... Averaging 23'000 in the third tier of the English football league, taking thousands away to supplement clubs that shouldn't even be mentioned in the same bloody breath as Sheffield Wednesday..and still we get..."patience".....fo,ok off..we served our time..We deserve far better This is our longest spell outside the top division ever and we've stuck by them in numbers far bigger than we slumped to in the late 70s. We've been patient. Like you I renew my season ticket because the alternative is not to go and that's a step too far - but it's getting beyond a foo king joke now.
