We've been waiting for a press conference and all the signings confirmed. I have read many people calling for a statement; saying the club are being too quiet so it is a worry. Tonight (albeit a bit random timing) they have released a statement outlining the deal is to be completed, but it is a bit delayed due to the Lens thing (which we suspected) - cue the standard Owlstalk moaning. I admit I was surprised by the announcement that the due diligence has just been completed, but the fact both parties are still eager to complete the deal is nothing but a positive. Ratification may be a while away, but as the old saying goes - better late than never! Some of you just need to relax and find some patience. These things don't happen overnight.
