ash60s
Are we dragging our heels (yet again) in the striker's department? No, I don't mean the pansy unions lot!!! Scott Hogan to Brentford! Sam Winnal to Barnsley!!! They the right age with a good year and half under their belts and quite a few goals WHY NOT? Just a thought, I'm not saying I rate them highly just trying to work out IF we were interested in either. Could do worse - like now we haven't signed any yet! Thoughts guys? The Night-Owl
Once the ratification is sorted, there is still good value out there, despite the crazy prices over here. Someone like Sam Baldock would offer better value I think than paying over the odds for a Championship proven striker. The best value though seems to be from abroad, with even the lower league strikers over here going for absurdly high prices. I can see us proably loaning in some quality youngish players from the French leagues and from the PL. Patience is key, although it's not ideal going into a season once again not ready and possibly having to play catch up but that said we have to find the right players that offer good value and re-sale value and hopefully not get overpriced wildly for them as well. I would imagine we'd have targets lined up or in mind ready for when the ratification goes through. Once it goes through, I'd like us to go for someone like Chris Wood or Sam Baldock, although I wouldn't be surprised to see us bring in some foreign bargains. Also I think it's key we bring in some quality creative players too, someone like Andy King would be a great signing. The Night-Owl
Should get onto the underwater bubble phone to Leicester City and try and get Chris Wood and Andy King before other Championship clubs snap them up. Line em up for once the ratification goes through, which looks like on a matter of days or day away, I think and hope, Edited July 23, 2014 by MilansMissingMarbles

mike84
Why do we need a young striker? We've already got Madine, Nuhiu and Lavery who are all under 25. A striker who scores is what we need. It doesn't matter how old they are. Id suggest someone with a bit more experience would probably help the forwards we've already got.
Guest Kagoshimaowl
Sorry about my previous post chaps (especially ash). It was a bit harsh, but I wish people would be patient. How can we buy anyone when the ownership is not officially sorted out yet??
