Based on the fact i've never heard of them, would have been nice if they were names we had heard of and played at a decent level. Also the fact that Staton said last week that 2 players meeting the rest of the squad would be signing, couldnt help but get excited about this and then he changed his mind and retracted that statement. ItalianOwl7 Posted July 23, 2014 Share Posted July 23, 2014 Some of my family who now live in Catania have watched him play in a few youth matches, they say that he was quite impressive. Has bags of flair and skills and has a great touch, even has a decent finish if he gets through on goal, not sure if he would be a development squad signing but either way he can break into the first team. Would certainly be different to what we've got but, if we sign him, we would have to wait and see if he could adapt to a completely different style of football in England. Posted July 24, 2014 Share Posted July 24, 2014 Looks like the NAC manager rated him but chose to concentrate on positions they needed to strengthen (they had another trialist a young tall CB and just signed him). Seems Katsetis didn't get any pitch time last night? Is he coming back to England with the squad? Before joining us he played the final 30 minutes of NAC's two friendlies and scored in each, although they were 7-0 and 14-0 wins for NAC so not sure of the level of opposition!
