Otto_Man
There are 10 teams in our league that will be in receipt of parachute monies next year and both Forest and Derby have budgets that are bigger than ours. That's 12 teams we know with more money than us and as teams, often finish broadly in line with where they rank budget wise, damn right we're a bottom half team, but we're also better than we were last year. I think we'll surprise a few teams next season, starting with Brighton
Inspector Lestrade
Realistically where are the goals going to come from?
beloved_aunt
Priority has to be some players with a bit extra magic. The team is solid enough and I wouldn't expect any relegation problems. But with three quality additions who can turn one point into three - eg a real playmaker, a goalscorer, an outstanding partner for Loovens - then who knows? Blue n White Rampage
It's not just about the players. It's how you use them. Hodgson went into the world cup agonising about players but seemed to have little idea how to mould them into a unit that wins games. Compare with the likes of Costa Rica who had very little high profile talent but were organised and played as a team. but they still had a rather large pool of players to pick from, our pot is astonishingly small in comparison. and how a country with the most professional leagues in the world could only scrape together a defence consisting of a good right back, a left back who was doing impressions of rabbits peering into headlights, a championship level "odd job" defender and roger johnson's uglier older brother is frightening. codgson even took phil jones to the world cup- the man puts a shift in but he's no more a footballer than terry henfleet is! sorry about the rant. had to get it out there, rather disappointed about the world cup. most disappointed that argentina didnt really bother trying to win the final and let a german side on autopilot walk away with the trophy

Ronio
1st team Westwood Palmer Loovens New Helan Maguire Lee Hutchinson New New New 2nd team Kirlkland Buxton Zayatte New Mattock Antonio New Semedo Maghoma Nuhiu Lavery fringe players: Madine, Corry, McCabe, Coke, Floro 2 teams, so 2 players for each position, 2nd team should be just as competent as the first team. 6 quality players needed. Basically 2 left footed centre backs, a quality left footed winger who can cross, a creative centre midfielder and 2 strikers who can bang in 15-20 goals each. That should do it..
