We didn't have any in 1998 (Jonk signed after the tournament). Us and one other (maybe Southampton) were only premier teams without a representative. I remember that particular nugget being said on sky at the time and realising how far we had fallen in the previous few years, and by contrast how everyone else had improved to include internationals from all 4 corners of the globe.
