Taximark Posted April 18, 2014 Share Posted April 18, 2014 In a total contrast to our last meeting roles are reversed for our meeting on Monday and it is them who are desperately needing the victory to save themselves from the drop, they haven't made any ground with their 5 games in hand and even Barnsley beat them at the Valley the other night. One of their better players Rhys Wiggins suffered an injury against Barnsley and is now out for the remainder of the season, so here's hoping we can give them some pay back for that cup game and continue with our scoring (10 goals in 3)..... something they are struggling to do, pressure is off us now we're safe. P.S I'm don't want to sound over confident though, remember what happened last time, but it would be nice to give them a pasting . Come on Wednesday!!! Part of me wants us to smash them, but the other part of me would love us to win 1-0 by taking the lead after about 15 mins and wasting every second of time. They need a result, we don't and to see their players, management & fans getting pee'd off with our time wasting, would make it a very enjoyable afternoon indeed. They were the luckiest team in the world to put us out the cup, that combined with the worst ref we've had this season.
