nevthelodgemoorowl
Early 70's we went to Wrexham for a 3-0 mauling our strike force that day was Derek Bell and Peter Feely. Was this our worst strike pairing ever ?

Wolfmanjack
As a pair, probably, but as individuals they were average third division players, and I always thought that Bell, although small was quite tidy. What about any pairing that had Ronnie Ferguson or Steve Downes in it?
Guest AbbeyOwl
John Pearson twice, only goal I saw him score bounced off his knee complete fluke.
Utah Owl
I'd go with anyone from the 74/75 season. The fact we didn't score for over three months says it all! That Wrexham mauling was in the 75/76 season and although we were bad then at least we were getting a few goals. Nev is right though we were absolutely abysmal that day. The best thing about the whole day was the hot pork pies being sold in the ground by some rather attractive blonde welsh girl! Dizzys Dad
If Peter Feeley ever played with Malcolm Darling, they would be the worst.

Bluesteel
Watching Proudlock and ndumbu up front together wasn't pretty. Then we subbed one of them for Kim Olsen.
mcmigo
That famous game that Bruce the cheat scored his two last minute headers I seem to recall we had a strike force of Jemson and Watson! At old Trafford Ffs

Guest Fedor
Just think next season it could be Madine and Nuhiu. "Shudders".
Guest mkowl
Phil Henson was terrible though it could be argued he was a midfielder. He once hit a shot from the D that went for a corner, the JJ of his era
