Ever since Gray brought him back into the team he's been immense. Far more involved in the attacking half of the pitch, and he seems to ask for the ball a lot more too, but still retaining his amazing workrate and tough tackling. Was initially worried when it looked like he was struggling to make the step up, but was really coming into his own under Gray before he got injured. Probably won't be first choice next year, but very important to have around to retain stability in the squad players. We don't want overhaul this summer - just trim the fat and add 3 or 4 players of real quality. Also very important we keep Semedo for when we're looking to pack the midfield away from home. At the moment it seems as if Lee is playing with too much responsibility and he is suffering as a result. Semedo took some of that weight of his shoulders, the way he breaks up play and the workrate he puts in must make him a dream to play with. May all be one foot and may not be the most gifted of players, but characters and leaders like Semedo are ever so important to have in your side. Got to get a new contract.
