WTF! of course we wanna push on, finish as high as we can, with a flourish. That way, it breeds confidence for next season. The way that interview was conducted and broached was disgusting. He's a local reporter (a nobody basically) and what right does he have to question somebody about their employment.... None. He wa there to ask questions about a game of football. Not question somebody on their livelihood. I feel a bit sorry for Giddins.
