Guest BirdonaMaguire
Squeaky bum time? sportingintelligence @sportingintel It's getting worse for Leeds. Cellino confirms he's stopped funding club. Story soon via @sport_simon or see @AndrewHaigh timeline #lufc sportingintelligence @sportingintel Told Cellino was asked for another c.£4m loan before end of March, for #lufc wages + 1 other thing (perhaps tax, tbc?). He said 'No more'. @AndrewHaigh Massimo Cellino exclusive by @sport_simon in tomorrow's @SunSportNow: Confirms he has stopped bankrolling #lufc after putting up to £10m in. @AndrewHaigh As I understand it, #lufc have a significant payment to make soon. Now Cellino is refusing to put money in, it makes the situation critical. 29k to 20k in three days is average non?

crookesowl
I don't mind seeing Weeds suffer due to their own demise on the pitch but this just isn't right. Episodes like this are killing the game. It could easily be us one day...
SiJ
What an absolute shambles that club is...but then whoever is in charge there seems so willing to play with fire that it's hardly a surprise is it. I mean who'd have seen this coming with a convicted fraudster. . .
Bluesteel
How much must their wage budget be? Are they getting wickham on a free favour or something?

They need a loan for £4m for March alone? Thats more than our entire loss for 2012-2013 season. Mental.

A 10 point deduction now would put them 20th - 5 pts above relegation zone, but with Charlton having 4 games in hand to make up 7 points on them to put them in relegation zone. Squeaky bum time indeed.
TheEnchanter
Not seen him on here for ages. No matter how 'reasonable' or friendly a lot of opposition supporters posting on here appear, it's such a coincidence how they are absent when their club is playing poo or when we are doing ok for ourselves. owls maniac
Where on earth is all their money going? For a club with a £30 million turnover they should be up there competing.
gurujuan
I think any points deduction would come off next season wouldn't it?

They could have "leveraged" their takeover, a la the Glazers? Hard to know.
Last_Great_Hope
I think any points deduction would come off next season wouldn't it? Not sure what the rules are tbh. A recurring problem with the Football League when all's said and done.
shandypants
I think any points deduction would come off next season wouldn't it? Not necessarily. I think there's a point where it's deducted from the following season but I don't know if that point has been passed yet.
