Don't delay go to the doctors

Recommended Posts

Hi fellow Wednesday fans.

A bit off topic but thought I would share.

I've just finished 25 sessions of chemo/ radiotherapy and at 35 I'd never thought that I would be diagnosed with bowel cancer. Thankfully following my one and only bleed I went to see the doctor and he referred me.

If anyone out there is delaying going to see the doc, or embarrassed don't be. Go see the doctor and hopefully you will have a chance a beating the big C.

Good luck mate, my mother went through it and it was touch and go for a while but she beat it, it take a strong determined person to do it.

Having had chemotherapy and radiotherapy back in 2007 for a different type of cancer, I now go to the doctors for anything that seems abnormal. I was only 33 at the time so know how you feel mate. Great post, great advice and good luck for your recovery!
