dawkeye
I love how all headlines exagerate the story - he hardly SLAMMED them. They love to say "Owls Ace" too. I'm sure a few weeks ago an Owls Ace commented on another Owls Ace. The headlines are embaressing at times. The majority of the Star headlines contain some unecessary buzz word like that. liam greeny
Milan you ruthless man. Slamming Carlisle. In other words he said it was unprofessional to leak the information!

CartyOwl
Football season's finished, season of lazy reporting begins!! SLAMMED???
latemodelchild
I like it when a manager or player roars.
Bluesteel
I wonder if this will escalate to a "war of words"? Perhaps someone will "blast" SWFC in response?
JoshTheOwl
They should have never of agreed to the clauses in the contract. They are the ones who've fvcked up, we just used a bit of intelligence. Well done all.
Ian_D
What about when they say someone gushed?
Thurnscoe_OWL
Carlisle slammed? They never even quote Milan until the last 2 paragraphs and they were only a sentence long.
Bluesteel
What about when they say someone gushed? They are usually saving that for Karl Robinson

Ronnie Starling
If the clause was in the contract then Milan has played a blinder by saving the club £100K.
Guest Distraught!
Paying another 100K for a player would definitely not been an issue if Madine was up to the standard expected and scoring as regularly as he should. Nobody would have begrudged Carlisle or him the extra money. Including Mandaric!
Plonk
100 k for a 16 minutes sub appearance is well worth avoiding paying. It would have been madness to play him.

0114
No way DJ didn't know that it would cost us £100,000. But he's played his cards well by saving us that money. A lot of money for a club like us.

oh_weds_we_love_you
'We would never do anything like that' *cough* Tommy Miller and Clinton Morrison *cough* Automatically triggering contract extensions for unwanted players is a bit different! Mike Oxlong
If any side has an issue with the contract, they need to speak to their negotiator, not the press. Im sure Gary's uncle is a streetwise football agent, so he saw such problems with a complex contract like this.
