UDMURT
....given our current situation on the pitch. But I just wondered who the designs ours. It has to be one of the most poorly designed pages on the web. It almost reminds of those home made sites people put up about their cat wearing hats. It doesn't take a lot to make a decent looking page, with navigation and links that make sense and some sort of consistant font ans size throughout. It really comes down to what flicks your switch, but for me a cheap site is no different to ugly shirts, crap stewarding, violent fans or non functioning toilets in the away end. It's all a representation of the club. Arsenal's always looks pretty good - http://www.arsenal.com/home Porto - for an example of blue and white possibilites - http://www.fcporto.pt/english/hp_english.asp Celtic - has a great layout for finding info/stats almost instantly ok ok so perhaps clubs with higher traffic and as such more necessity for a crisper user experience? townend_owl
I don't think i've ever seen a good football club web site. Most are run generic templates by the football league (us for example - check most of the other championship clubs and you'll see a trend...). Don't really understand it. Football club websites could be great, inventive and interactive but they're just dull with crappy standard menus and a couple of news articles. Where's the social interaction? Fan interaction? UDMURT
Oops should have probably seen the other similar thread started recently....move or delete mine if appropriate. Couldn't agree more. I would say a majority of fans now get their info from the OS and its a state. I remember our site being quite good before that football league template came into play. It seemed strange to me also that when Lee Strafford arrived the site didn't evolve at all given his understanding of harnessing the power of the internet! KurtG
Corby Town FC has one of the best looking websites I've seen. That's something to be proud of. You're right though, ours sucks, I avoid it like the plague after the update

Galaxypuppet
I never use the official one any more. Has it changed again recently?
