Recommended Posts

since its been changed inable to access the official wednesday site just freezes an the page ?? anybody else having problems like this ?/ i use windows 7

Me too. I just get the Wycombe picture, no icons, nowhere to click, not even to close down. Have to use task manager to exit which tells me the site is busy and causes problems if closed. Tried every day but have now given up.

Had same problem with it freezing. Tried everything to no avail then tried Google Chrome as the browser and then straight in with no problems.

Suggest you try this.

As posted elsewhere, it is an absolutley terrible site. it is managed by a third party who do the same for most Championship clubs, many League One clubs and some Premier league clubs. I have tried and failed to find the details of who it is.

I have written to the club and received no response but, in case anyone at Hillsborough is bothered, the key issues are:-

  • Website opens with a headline and then freezes
  • It then shows a blank photo of the ground
  • Once unfrozen, you have to spot the very small 'enter website' wording hyperlink
  • choosing the drop down options is strange and can be different each time
  • The site is unreadable on Android and i-phones (although they are now saying that the league website is the bespoke one for smart phones)
  • Most people are no longer bothering with the official website

All the clubs using the same design have the same problems, a real opportunity missed by the club. I recommend that the club sack or sue the company and do their own thing - plenty of IT talent in this City to do this for them.
