Recommended Posts

i was there! iirc it was when the leppings lane end was closed/flattened in readiness for seats

Could have sworn that this game was the only time I've ever sat in the Leppings!!??

Yes I remember but but it wasn't 10k it was about 7k (-:

You are pretty much wrong!

I was there, the South was full and i'm sure there were a few in the Kop aswell?

Seem to remember 9000+ being the attendance.

Edit: This is for the reserve game btw, not the testimonial.

Didn't Wright miss a chance at some point, kick the hoardings and throw his shirt off (having a laugh of course) or is my mind playing tricks on me?

yes just after turner had saved from him for about the fifth time, wright was a star that day and really won the crowd over,if i remember right he gave his shirt to a ball boy who then had it conviscated cos they were going on sale for charity or summat

I cant believe that people forgot what was the greatest moment of the game.

David hit the bar with a flying volley, from outside the area....................... you must remember this!!
